The Audio-Visual Collection in general is a diverse collection that offers its users a unique perspective of North Carolina State University. This series includes various lectures, symposiums and conferences held on the NCSU campus. For example, the symposium "1984 Fact or Fiction" was held through 1978 and 1979. The Provost's Forum (1986-1987) focussed on the subject of education, and included discussions on topics such as "Teaching For Learning" and "The Search For Excellence." The Harrelson Lectures Series (1991-1992) included lectures on topics such as academic freedom, creative writing, and the U.S. Constitution. This series also contains the lectures included in "Affairs of State" and "Religious Affairs."
